The Rose of Jericho is known for its ability to come back to life after being desiccated for a long period of time, therefore given the name Resurrection Plant. In spiritual practices, the Jericho flower is used for bringing peace, prosperity and abundance into your home as well as protection against negative energy. Can be used in areas of your life during periods of rebirth or drawing in of a new love interest.
When placed in a shallow dish of water it will come to life within hours and "bloom". Water it every day for up to 7 days. Then allow to dehydrate completely for 2 days. It is important to let it dry out between waterings or it may rot. Air plant; no soil/planting needed.
The resurrection fern gets its name because it can survive long periods of drought by curling up its fronds and appearing desiccated, gray-brown and dead. It has been estimated that these plants could go 100 years without water and still revive after a single soaking. Can be passed down throughout generations.
